At our Thanksgiving Service, we’re celebrating 190 years of sharing Jesus across London.
Your one-off gift today — or on the night — will be matched £1 for £1, doubling your impact to help us keep reaching those on the margins with the hope of the gospel.
Founded in 1835, LCM missionaries have walked alongside the poor, the overlooked, and the spiritually hungry in London’s toughest places. From slums to estates, prisons to pavements, God has used this mission to bring the love and hope of Jesus to many people.
Today, we honour God’s faithfulness and invite you to take part in what He is doing next.
A one-off gift to the Thanksgiving Special Offering will help fuel the future of the gospel in London.
Your gift will help train more people – church members and missionaries – to continue sharing Jesus to marginalised communities in London.
And because your gift is matched, it will go twice as far.
Five years ago, Winston was part of a small church team in Rye Lane running Friday night outreach. They’d invite people into the chapel for a hot drink and conversation, hoping to share the gospel. But Winston found it difficult.
That changed when London City Mission got involved.
An LCM missionary, Michael, began discipling the team. He offered two eight-week training courses to help them share their faith more confidently, both in everyday life and through outreach.
Winston and his team became confident in sharing Jesus. Since then, over 40 people have come to faith at Rye Lane Chapel and 25 have been baptised - with more on the way.
Last year alone, LCM supported churches in London in making over 20,000 new connections.
This would not have been possible without the faithful support of our gospel partners, those who were with us 190 years ago and those who are with us now - people like you.
Your one-off gift will be matched to help carry LCM from 190 years toward 200.
