In answer to a question about the value of visiting ‘door to door’ as part of a Christian ministry, Andrew said “I heartily commend it.” He later went on to say: “Before I joined LCM, I spent almost 20 years doing door-to-door visiting as part of my church’s outreach programme. All this with little results and without building any real friendships. But, since being trained by LCM, out of the 1000 or so homes that I now visit, I know almost 300 of the people on first-name terms. I’ve been invited into people’s homes to pray with them and give them Bibles, and I’m often asked for employment advice. I’ve even been invited to birthday parties! Real friendships have resulted from my visiting.”
