Ministries

LCM was established in 1835 to take the Christian Gospel to the people of London, 'especially the poor', and to do them good by every means in the missionaries' power.
From that initial purpose there has developed a multi-faceted ministry. Workers have continually developed new ways of reaching people and meeting their needs. That freshness of approach continues to be a feature of the work today. New ministries to New Age devotees and among Kurdish refugees are just two opened up in recent years.
