Please Pray
'Pray for us ... that God may open a door for our message, so that
we may proclaim the mystery of Christ.' (Colossians 4:3)
Thank you for your prayers on our behalf. We feel the benefit of that unseen company of God's people who help us by prayer: We depend upon it. Pray that many in this needy city will be born again and shine as lights in a dark place.

Prayer Update - Wednesday 1 September 2010
Today, Wednesday 1 September, as the missionaries come together at Headquarters, they will be spending much of the time in prayer as they enter into this new season. Please pray with them, that they will know God’s guidance and direction in the coming days.
Excitement is gradually building as we look forward next Monday to the arrival of the new City Vision team. They will begin their gap year of service with the Mission. Please continue to pray for this team of 12 as they prepare in the next few days to come to London and say their farewells to family and friends. Their orientation week starts next Monday. Pray that they will gel together as a team quickly and will be used of God in their different assignments. Pray too for the missionary teams that they will be working alongside, as they make their own preparations for the CV start.
We have been asked to pray for Matt and Rhiannon Lofthouse who have had their first child, Hannah Kerry, on 25 August. Pray that they will really enjoy these early days as a family.
Wendy Hughes, who has been working part-time at Mission Care, goes full-time into that ministry next week, so please pray as she adapts to this new role. And pray too for the team at Peckham Christian Centre, where Wendy has been working, that they will be strengthened and encouraged as they continue with the work.
We do thank you for praying with us in this ministry of evangelism and caring in London. God bless you in your own ministry for Him.
