Recruitment of Missionaries
Like most other organisations, LCM has been feeling the effects of the financial crisis. We're doing all that we possibly can to ensure that our ministry continues to take Jesus Christ to the people of London - a ministry that's needed now, more than ever.
However, because of the crisis and the uncertainty it has caused, LCM is not currently recruiting City Missionaries, except for the positions advertised here.

The LCM is a growing mission that is partnering the churches of London in sharing Jesus with the millions who are outside the church in ‘the capital of the world.’ Each year we recruit new workers to increase our witness through a wide range of ministries, including:
- church based outreach
- running outreach centres on housing estates
- workplace chaplaincies
- schools work
- door-to-door visitation, street evangelism
- ministry to the homeless, the elderly
- working with various ethnic and religious minorities
We are also looking for those amongst our recruits who may have the ability to develop new cutting-edge ministries, and those who will grow to become team leaders and trainers.
The recruitment process begins in January when application forms are made available. Interviews usually take place between April – June and those accepted start in September.
