West Croydon – football, life and death In 2009 Luke Mansfield was asked to take over the leadership of the Mission’s Centre in West Croydon, where he had been working as assistant to Steve Downe (view pdf) Steve is now chaplain to railway staff and British Transport Police in south London area In the summer there was the annual football academy, linking up with the nearby Selhurst Evangelical Church Karen Millar, on the CV gap-year scheme, provides valuable help in the weekly football academy.
