National research shows that almost half of church leaders across the UK feel they need more support in how to be culturally relevant in their context and support with revitalisation.
As our communities change with time, many are asking how to lead their churches confidently in cross‑cultural mission - and this is one of the areas where we’ve seen the Lord at work through our partnerships with churches, everyday Christians are now taking steps to share their faith for the first time.
At London City Mission, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with hundreds of churches across London and have supported many more churches nationwide. Through these relationships, we’ve seen encouraging signs of what evangelistic ministries often lead to fruit and the success factors for building a missional team, as well as patterns in the challenges leaders are facing.
We’d love to invite you to a small, reflective gathering to think and pray about these things together.
What to expect
Carl Knightly, Director of Church Engagement, will host our evening, designed to give you space to:
- Pray and share with other church leaders who carry similar joys and challenges
- Enjoy warm hospitality and good food, with time for unhurried conversation
- Hear stories from church leaders - where they are seeing the Lord at work and what they’re learning
Jason Roach, Director of Ministries, will help us explore emerging missional trends, shaped by insights from LCM’s work across the city
Our hope is to serve and encourage you, offering what we’ve been learning as we walk alongside churches each day.
We’d be delighted to welcome you
Book now to join this small gathering of senior church leaders. If you would value time to step back, be encouraged, and connect with others who share your heart for gospel ministry in our city, we’d love you to join us.
