MET Conference: The Bible & The Qur'an

So often as Christians, we'd like to speak with our Muslim friends and neighbours about our faith, sharing the truth of the gospel, but where do we begin?

Speaking to our Muslim friends about the Bible can feel daunting and overwhelming - we worry we won't have the answers to their questions or know where to point them.

Often we might hear Muslims say they also believe in Jesus (or Isa), and that they respect the gospel. But many will also say that they believe the Bible has been changed.

It's important for us as Christians to truly understand what Muslims think about the Bible. The truth is, what Muslims believe about the Bible and the Qur'an presents quite a challenge...

While the Qur’an claims to be a continuation of the Scriptures that came before it, so much of what is contained in the Qur’an actually contradicts the Bible in significant ways.

This is known as the Islamic Dilemma, and it provides a great way in to speak to our Muslim friends and neighbours about the truth the Bible offers.

This year’s conference is especially designed to explore and explain what the Qur'an teaches about the Bible, giving you the confidence to share why the Bible is reliable and trustworthy.

Come along and leave feeling even more motivated to share the gospel with Muslims!
