Outreach in a cost of living crisis

Join us at our free online event for church leaders and church reps.

With a difficult winter ahead, how can we as the church be missional and sensitively share the hope of Christ whilst helping to meet people’s practical needs? Join us to hear from experienced London City Missionaries and discuss practical ideas for reaching out and creating opportunities for people to hear the gospel, who otherwise may be unlikely to hear about the amazing news of God’s love shown in Jesus Christ.

During the webinar, Kevin Croft, Field Director at LCM, will be sharing encouragements on God’s heart for the marginalised. We will have time to hear from missionaries and pray together. There will also be a Question & Answer session and we encourage you to submit any questions you have about this topic in advance to churches@lcm.org.uk

Kingdom Bank offers Christians a unique way to steward their money with Kingdom values. Whether you want to deposit your savings meaningfully, are looking for funding or in search of church or charity insurance, Kingdom Bank would be delighted to partner with you.

  • Savings – Our savings accounts provide churches and individuals with options that are not just ethical, but of eternal value. The money entrusted to us funds our mortgage lending, so it’s supporting gospel ministry whilst we’re looking after it for customers. And be reassured – we’re a regulated bank covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
  • Mortgages – We offer mortgages to churches, Christian charities and gospel workers (including missionaries) for the purchase or renovation of property, subject to meeting the Bank’s eligibility criteria. We are often able to lend when high street banks are reluctant to do so due to our understanding of the nature of church structures and income.
  • Insurance – Our expert insurance team have a wealth of experience in understanding the often complex needs of churches when it comes to insurance. Our position as a broker enables us to partner with customers to advise on requirements and find the best price to cover your risks. We often find that we are able to save churches money compared with the renewal quote from their existing provider and will take the time to answer any questions you may have.
  • Gospel Partnership – One of the great things about Kingdom Bank is that our leadership and customer-facing teams are all Christians. Customers feedback their appreciation that we speak their language and we understand gospel ministry. As an organisation our purpose is to help churches grow. Our desire is to be the trusted, financial gospel partner of choice for the leaders and elders of UK evangelical churches.

Kevin Croft

Field Director at LCM

Kevin is a born and bred South-Londoner, who was born opposite the Mission's headquarters.

Kevin put his faith in Christ whilst working as a funeral director, and had wonderful opportunities to share Christ with his colleagues. But the Lord grew a desire in his heart to be sharing Christ with more and more people, and in 2013 he began working with the mission alongside a church congregation in Battersea.

In the intervening years, Kevin's ministry has mainly focused on serving the local community in Vauxhall, particularly on local estates.

"My area of particular focus as a field director is Council Estates and Seniors. I am really excited, from conversations with church leaders across London, that there is a genuine desire to reach out to those living on estates, including those isolated because of their age. One of the biggest barriers is that many churches just don’t know where to begin. It is an honour to be able to help equip churches to reach out and disciple those living in their local communities that have so often been overlooked".

Kevin is married to Rebecca and they have a daughter and son.
