Thanksgiving Service 2023

Come and be inspired as we hear firsthand stories of people coming to faith and how God is still on the move through the church.

We are delighted to be holding our annual Thanksgiving Service at Westminster Chapel, and look forward to welcoming supporters, church groups, and those curious to learn more about London City Mission and what God is doing in London today.

Our theme for this year is ‘Gospel urgency’.

“The promise is… for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:39. And our guest speaker will be Trevor Archer, London FIEC Director.

On the night, you’ll hear how, thanks to the support of people like you, urban churches across London are being equipped to reach out cross culturally. Like one church in Tooting who, after working with LCM missionary Gifty, now has a growing ministry to their local, mostly Hindu community, providing a foodbank and mental health services.

Following encouragement from the church leaders and practical training by Gifty, a large team from the church are now regularly calling in on their neighbours, building gospel relationships, shining the light of the gospel in a community where Jesus Christ isn’t known.
