Winter Conference: Gospel Pathways

How will God use you and your church to share the hope of Jesus in 2025? Join us for a day dedicated to making lasting, gospel connections with the people around you.

Around us live countless people unlikely to walk through our church doors. Each have their own unique stories, hopes and fears. Each of them is made in God’s image, with a longing for what only he can provide. And yet, many will go through life missing out on a chance to respond to the best news they could ever hear!

And, as Christians, we can end up missing out too…

…On friendships with people we may never have met otherwise. On seeing God’s transforming work in their lives. And on their unique impact as they join our church family.

The good news is that God invites us and equips us to go out and meet them!

But where to start?

At our Winter Conference, we’ll unpack different ways you and your church can build lasting connections with the people around you – especially those from marginalised communities. And we’ll explore how to authentically and lovingly share the life-changing news of Jesus as you build these connections.

We’ll be joined by missionaries with years of experience helping churches build bridges into communities largely unreached by the gospel. They’ll share their insights to help you, and your church, take the next steps in connecting with your community.

As part of the day, we’ll explore how to meet people on their doorsteps, how to practice hospitality and how to meet people practical's needs whilst avoiding unhealthy dependency. Plus much more.

The conference is a great opportunity to explore these ministries and think about what could work for you and your church. We’ll host training days dedicated to each ministry throughout the year, to help you to take the next practical steps.

So, what better way to start the year than to get excited about what God could do through you and your church to build his Kingdom?

We would love to see you there!

Door-to-door ministry

The thought of knocking on a stranger’s door can be frightening. But so often, Christians are surprised how much they love the experience and the fruitful connections they make. Missionary, Kevin Croft will share some key principles.

Hospitality

How can we invite people into a space where they feel comfortable and where friendships can be forged? Jason Roach will help us think through ways we can be innovative in our hospitality.

Practical empowerment

How can we help people meet their practical needs whilst avoiding unhealthy dependency? Missionaries including Luke Carson will share ideas like English language classes.

Plus much more!

Jason Roach

LCM Director of Ministries

The Rev Dr Jason Roach is a medical doctor by background, has served as a special advisor to the Bishop of London and is a well-known evangelical author and speaker on a range of topics. He joined the LCM team in 2021 as Director of Ministries after being one of the founders and currently an elder of The Bridge Church in Battersea London.

Charlotte Mayhew

LCM Diaspora Field Director

Moving from Postdoctoral research in Cancer Therapeutics, Charlotte joined LCM in 2014 feeling called to reach the nations in London. Charlotte worked for a number of years alongside Muslim communities in London, particularly the Somali and South Asian diaspora communities. Now Charlotte is the LCM Field Director for North London and Diaspora Ministry.

Kevin Croft

LCM Field Director

Kevin is the south London Field Director, and his ministry has a particular focus on Council Estates and Seniors. He is a born and bred South-Londoner and began working with the Mission in 2013.

Luke Carson

LCM Team Leader for Prisons & Resettlement

Luke joined LCM in 2010, after moving from Belfast to London, to work with Webber Street and the homeless and street population.

During this time, he started going into prison to try and help men who would be sleeping rough when they got released.

There was so much need and it became clear that missionaries and the church could do more in this area. So since 2020, Luke has been Team Leader for Prisons & Resettlement.
