How to bring the Gospel to your Highstreet

Share

London is truly a global city, with people represented from almost every religion and culture. And while we may live and work in different circles, our high streets are a place where people from all walks of life can be found.

One in two people in London don’t have a Christian friend to share the gospel with them. Which makes the high street a great place for Christians to step out and share the good news of Jesus, with people who are might otherwise be unlikely to hear it.

‘How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news...’

Isaiah 52:7

As Jesus’ followers, we can step out in faith in our busy, vibrant high streets and engage with people in gospel conversations. 60% of people in our local communities will visit the main high streets and shopping areas; these are areas that need to be reclaimed for our risen Lord! A regular book table is a visible point on the street where people can come to discover and discuss more about Jesus.

This guide – drawn from the experiences of our missionaries - shares practical ways Christians can share the love of God, by being a consistent spot in the community to build relationships, encourage deeper thinking, and responses to the gospel.
