There are lots of ways your missionary can be involved, depending on what suits your church. Here are just a few of them.
Sunday morning service
Your missionary can provide updates on what God is doing in their ministry, they can be interviewed by a church member, or they can deliver a sermon on the theme of mission. They love to spend time with the church after the service to field questions about their work.
Prayer meeting
Your missionary covets your prayers! They can help lead a time of prayer; giving an update on what God is doing in London and equipping your church to pray.
Bible study group
Your missionary would be delighted to give a Bible talk on the theme of mission and could also help to lead a study if required.
Special events
Perhaps you have a ladies' meeting, missions evening or other special event – all of which could be perfect opportunities for your missionary to contribute to.
A tour of local churches
Perhaps you are part of a Churches Together group or are connected locally to neighbouring churches. Why not invite a missionary to visit you for a few days?
Training session
Perhaps there's a community near your church that you would like to reach, or an area of evangelism you'd like to develop. We can arrange for a missionary with relevant experience to host a training session for church members.
A chat over coffee
Our missionaries love hearing from churches about their vision for local mission and the challenges they face. Meeting a missionary informally can be a great first step to discuss ideas and ways of partnering together.
