Daniel spent five years involved in local church ministry and volunteering with different homeless charities, and then felt a calling to minister full time to marginalised and vulnerable people.
“God has a heart for those who are marginalised by society. I believe it’s part of our calling as gospel communities to reach out to these people.”
Daniel leads the team working in LCM’s three homeless ministries in south London. He is also responsible for the strategic oversight for how these ministries can equip local churches to minister to homeless people.
“In our homeless ministries we work with men and women who’ve often experienced huge brokenness and trauma in their lives. We seek to support them practically in a way that gives dignity and respect while shining the light of the gospel into their situation.”
“The needs in the homeless community across London are huge and complex, above all people need the gospel and to be welcomed by a loving community who accepts them for who they are now, not who they could be in the future,” says Daniel.
Daniel’s vision is to see churches across London ministering to those who are homeless or vulnerable in their local area and to welcome and disciple them within loving church families.
Daniel is married with two children and is part of a church in west London.
