Sally has been passionate about missions ever since she became a Christian at 13 years old when a group of American missionaries visited her school.
"There is nothing more exciting than being able to share the gospel with someone and to see how it directly speaks into their individual circumstances."
She was then introduced to LCM as she volunteered through her local church - "I was amazed by an organisation that looked after both the practical and spiritual needs of people who are marginalised and vulnerable."
Currently, Sally serves as a missionary at Webber Street, a day centre in the heart of Waterloo that offers practical help to people that are homeless or marginalised. Her role includes training, equipping and encouraging churches to reach people experiencing homelessness in London. Part of this work includes helping to run daily morning talks, bible studies and art club, all which involve opportunities to share the gospel.
"My desire is to see London churches full of all sorts of people, including both rich and poor, gathered round the unifying gospel of a risen Christ. I want to see people on the margins of society loved and looked after by churches, but also invited into the truth and eternal treasures of knowing and living for Jesus."
Sally is from Glasgow and studied classical music. She loves wild swimming, board games and white-flesh nectarines!
