Since re-dedicating his life to God in 2015, Scott has served with multiple Christian ministries that have enabled him to discern God's calling upon his life as an evangelist. In response to that call, Scott started work as a street evangelist before joining the mission in 2022.
"I came back to Christ because somebody was bold enough to passionately and lovingly share the gospel with me, thereby enabling me to see and respond to my great need for Jesus. I now have that same burning desire to see the lost saved, because Jesus has given me new life through him."
Scott now has the privilege of serving on the Newham team, seeking to use his abilities to reach children, youth and schools with the good news of Jesus.
"With a recent influx of refugees and their families in the area, many don't have access to certain essentials and lack hope. When local authorities can’t fill the gaps, the Church is needed – now more than ever – to be the hands and feet of Jesus in these communities, in meeting their physical and spiritual needs."
"In working alongside church volunteers to help run mid-week outreach programs, we know that the hope of the gospel will reach those without hope, and lives will be forever changed."
Scott lives with his wife Emily in Redbridge, attends Regeneration Church in Upminster, and is an avid film fan.
