Our church’s location is no accident. Our neighbourhood is our mission field – and we have the best news in the world to share!
But often we can go through church life never meeting any of the people that live around us. And they can go through life never hearing the gospel, or not even knowing we’re here.
But there is something incredible we can do.
We can knock on their door, and say hello.
For some of us, the thought of doing this can strike fear into our hearts. But it’s all about meeting people, getting to know them, their stories and seeking to build meaningful relationships.
And it’s about taking opportunities to share our faith, which so often naturally present themselves once we connect with people. The potential is amazing!
At our practical evangelism day, we’ll explore how you and your church can build a fruitful and exciting door-to-door ministry.
- We’ll use role-play to help us know how to start a conversation with someone on their doorstep, and how to respond to different reactions.
- We’ll explore how and when to bring in the gospel in conversations – and how listening skills can help us build genuine, loving connections with the person we’re visiting.
- We’ll share how to plan a sustainable door-to-door ministry in your church – how to build a team, how to choose an area to focus to focus on, and how to develop connections with neighbours in the long term.
We’ll be joined by missionaries with years of experience in door-to-door ministry, who you can ask your questions to.
We hope you’ll leave feeling confident and excited to see how God will use you to share the gospel with your neighbour.
