“I enjoy Sunday. When it’s a Sunday morning at a service in Pentonville, it’s probably the happiest morning of the month for me. There is nothing like being in a Sunday service in Pentonville.” shared Scott.
The Prisons team have been hosting Bible discussions and a Bible course at the prison, which has resulted in inmates hearing the gospel for the first time and declaring to follow Jesus.
"And I find, that a lot of them never got to know Jesus before they started coming to church in the prison, which is a shame. The first time they're hearing the gospel is in the prison chapel."
Many perceive prison to be the 'end of the road' for most, but the Prisons team are committed to restoring hope through the transformative power of the gospel.
