Taking us through Ephesians chapter two, Israel encouraged us to celebrate the multi-cultural bride of Christ and shared how the gospel can help us to develop inter-cultural mission.
"Welcome is different from belonging. Just because you welcome people doesn't mean they feel like they belong. Belonging means that we go beyond welcome, having recognised the humanity of people to a place where we seek to understand their identity and ensure that we don't assimilate their identity. Create a space for them to be who they are in Christ."
